On November 29th, 2019, the widely expected MBS Fun Sports Day was launched successfully. All faculty and students of MBS participated in the sports event.

Anna Zhong, our Head of School gave a short but enthusiastic speech, encouraging the students to enjoy the fun of sports under the principles of respect, communication and cooperation.

For the opening ceremony, everyone was amazed at the marvelous dragon dance show by Kimbo Luo and the Dragon and Lion Dance Society he instructed. The dragon swayed to the music across the stage, adding to the splendid scene. Waves of applauses and cheers made the climax of the ceremony.

A total of 15 events were set up just in the morning. Teachers and students of different Houses formed 30 groups and took turns to participate in various activities that either appreciate speed like Hot wheels, Boxing and Kicking, Barriers Relay or require strategy such as Pass the Ball, Dodgeball, Hands-Feet Coordination. By joint efforts and collective wisdom, all group members pursued sports spirit of “Citius, Altius, Fortius”.

It is worth mentioning that this sports day also invited parents to support. The food and beverage refreshments prepared by parents provide a rich and varied food experience for everyone. At the same time, more than 30 parents participated in the school sports day as volunteers, serving as referees and scorekeepers. We sincerely hope all students enjoy the fun of sports.
